Evry-Courcouronnes Judicial Court

Evry-Courcouronnes Judicial Court

The extension of the Evry Judicial Court is set within a strong urban context shaped by modernist planning principles characteristic of the new town of Évry. The project engages with both the symbolic representation of justice and the urgency of contemporary climate challenges.

In a balanced composition, two office wings are placed above a ground-level plinth housing the courtrooms and a circulation gallery opening onto a landscaped garden. This clear organisational structure reinforces legibility while establishing a calm and civic spatial sequence.

The construction approach prioritises bio-based materials and passive summer comfort strategies. Night-time natural ventilation is implemented across the building, placing the user at the centre of environmental and spatial performance.
