Student Residence, Housing, Childcare Facility and Retail – Meaux
The project replaces an existing garage with a mixed-use development located at the corner of Rue de Meaux and Rue Armand Carrel in Paris’s 19th arrondissement.
The programme includes:
– A retail unit and a childcare facility at ground-floor level;
– Social housing in the form of a 96-room student residence;
– Private housing comprising a nine-storey street-front building with 47 apartments of varying sizes, from studios to five-room units, as well as a group of four terraced live-work houses arranged around the interior courtyard.
The project combines diverse forms of housing and public amenities within a coherent urban composition, contributing to the vitality and mixed-use character of the neighbourhood.
