Cultural Centre, Theatre and Music Conservatory – Asnières

The new cultural hub in Asnières-sur-Seine, the result of an ambitious vision, embodies the transformation of a former administrative building into a vibrant cultural ecosystem. This exceptional facility is conceived as a place of artistic convergence, bringing together music, dance and theatre for audiences of all ages and skill levels. The existing building, remarkable for its state of preservation, forms the starting point of this transformation. Each intervention is designed to respect the integrity of the original structure while integrating contemporary standards and amenities. Particular attention is given to thermal insulation and indoor air quality, ensuring high energy performance.
The project includes the conversion of the administrative wing into an innovative music conservatory, the complete renovation of the Armande Béjart Theatre, and the reconfiguration of associative spaces to foster exchange and creative synergy. Acoustic adaptation of the former shooting range and full upgrades for safety and accessibility are also part of the scope. The works are carefully phased in two stages in order to minimise disruption. At its core, the project reflects the ambition to create a cultural venue rooted in its heritage while fully meeting contemporary requirements.
