The project comprises the construction of a 110-room residence for young workers (managed by Lerichemont), a 279-room student residence, and a 135-room serviced hotel residence.
Located between the emerging Macdonald district and Rosa Parks railway station, the scheme contributes to the transformation of Rue Gaston Tessier. Facing the Michelet/Curial towers in Paris’s 19th arrondissement, the building extends over 146 metres along the railway plateau serving Gare du Nord and Gare de l’Est.
The architectural concept is expressed through a fragmented volume articulated as seven “kinetic” façades, responding to the scale and dynamism of the surrounding urban redevelopment.
