Conversion of Office Buildings into Housing

Conversion of Office Buildings into Housing

The project involves the conversion of an office building into a residential development comprising 98 dwellings with shared amenities, including dining areas, activity rooms, lounges and office spaces.

This transformation provides an opportunity to redefine the perception of the existing monolithic building through a comprehensive reworking of its envelope. A new façade skin is introduced, together with the creation of new openings and windows, reshaping the building’s identity. The intervention refines the silhouette and breaks down the overall massing, giving the development a more domestic scale and a renewed relationship with its surroundings.

Through this process of adaptation, the project combines architectural renewal with the reuse of the existing structure, creating contemporary living environments while extending the building’s lifecycle.
